How can I pay ?

Payment can be made by Credit Card; EFT; Instant EFT; Stop Order; Snapscan; Payfast; Paypal; Direct Deposit or Debit Order.


Invoices ?

A pro rata invoice will be issued on activation of service.
Thereafter invoices will be issued on the 1st of the month (Invoices are payable on presentation).

Is there a setup fee ?

Openserve has an installation fee of R1729 Vat incl. (this can be paid over 12 months) - Interest Free.
Currently there is no installation charge, place your order to take advantage of this free offer.


Do I get a Free Router ?

Yes we will supply a free router, however there is a Once-off delivery fee of R249.


What are our terms ?

There is no contract.
Cancellations require a 30 calendar day notification.
If you have paid the installation fee then there will be no charges should you terminate our services.
If you were paying monthly for the connection fee we will work out the remainder portion of the 12 months payment.
Please note that should the service be ordered and the incorrect address is supplied, the client will be responsible for all charges relating to the order placed at the incorrect address.


Can I upgrade, downgrade at any time ?

Yes! Upgrades and downgrades of Fibre speeds can be done at any time.


Do you want Fibre Internet, but still need a landline number ?

How do I port my Telkom voice landline to SA Domain VOIP ?

You will need to supply us with a copy of your ID and latest Telkom telephone bill (please note that your account needs to be settled, or Telkom will not release your number) and an authorisation letter which will be supplied to you.


Please Note when doing a speedtest:

It’s completely normal to get different results from different speed test sites.

Think about speed test sites like different timed trips that all start at your home but the destination for each is different. You wouldn’t expect a drive on an interstate going to the airport to give you the same average speed as a 20 mile drive to a farm in the countryside.

A speed test is inherently a test of transfer rate, packet loss, latency, and sometimes error counts between two specific points on the global internet and two different speed tests will only share the same start point (your house).

We will only accept speed tests done with a LAN cable plugged in from your PC/Laptop to the modem as speed tests over wi-fi do not give an accurate reading. For a speed test on our network please use speedtest.co.za
