Why am I being invoiced before the expiry date for my domain name

Q: Why am I being invoiced before the expiry date for my domain name?

A: Our renewal invoices are sent three months prior to the domain expiration date. Domains are immediately suspended by the domain registry if payment is not received prior to the renewal date.
