Understanding Lightstruck Fibre Speeds
Fibre package speeds are shown as download speed followed by upload speed. A 100/50 Mbps package, for example, provides speeds of up to 100 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload.
A symmetrical package such as 500/500 Mbps provides matching download and upload speeds. Higher upload speeds can be useful for cloud backups, video conferencing, remote working, content creation and transferring large files.

The Lightstruck new installation fee is R1 840 including VAT, subject to coverage and installation requirements at the address.
Existing Connection
A R575 once-off activation fee applies to an existing Lightstruck connection where the existing connection can be used.
Re-installation
Where a Lightstruck fibre re-installation is required, the re-installation fee is R1 840 including VAT.
