Has exceeded the max defers and failures per hour

Q: I keep getting the following error message when sending e-mail:

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

Domain example.com has exceeded the max defers and failures per hour (x/x (x%)) allowed. Message discarded.

A. cPanel will regularly monitor the messages sent through all e-mail accounts linked to your domain and, if over the past hour, more than 25% of the attempted deliveries have failed, outbound e-mail from your domain will temporarily be restricted for the next hour.

If you have received this error notice, please check each of the e-mail accounts linked to your domain for other failure notices which arrived prior to this one as they will contain the reason for the notice above.
