RoundCube - Adding Contacts to Your Address Book

RoundCube webmail offers a comprehensive address book which allows you to add detailed contact information. Contacts can be added to your address book one-by-one or by importing them from a file.

Adding a new contact manually:

1. Log in to RoundCube.

2. Click on the Address Book link at the top left-hand side of the page.

3. Click on the plus sign (+) at the bottom of the Contacts column. This will open the Add contact window.

4. In the Properties section, you will be prompted for the following:
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email
  • Phone
  • Address
Note: The Email field must be filled out. The other fields are optional.

5. Additional fields can be added by clicking on the Add field menu and selecting the appropriate criteria.

6. The Personal information section includes your new contact's Gender and Birthday. More information can be added by clicking on the Add field menu. This section is optional.

7. The Notes section allows you to add any other information which you need to to concerning your new contact. This section is also optional.

8. Once you have entered all of the required information, click on the Save button. Your new contact will be listed under the Contacts column of the address book.

Importing contacts from a file:

1. Log in to RoundCube.

2. Click on the Address Book link at the top left-hand side of the page.

3. Click on the Import icon, located beneath the roundcube logo on the left-hand side of the page.

4. On the Import contacts page, click on the Choose Files button.

5. Browse to and select the file that you wish to import. Click on Open.

6. Click on the Import button.

7. Once the upload has been completed, a summary of the imported addresses will be displayed.

8. Click on the Done button. Your new contacts will be listed under the Contacts column of the address book.

Note: The file from which you import your contacts must use the comma-separated values (CSV) format.
